Moreover, maintan all the chains of Masirah buoys. Replaced the existing beacon of Shanna Harbour with a new steel beacon, completed on May 1, 2024.

The workshop, held in Holiday Inn – Muscat from October 23 to 25, featured specialized lectures on maritime safety presented by regional and international experts. This is part of the Capacity-Building Program for the International Hydrographic Organization and represents the Regional Hydrographic Committees (ROPME) in the North Indian Ocean and Africa.

The structure has been repainted with high quality (Interfine) from International Paint.

- [Port of Salalah](https://amnas-oman.com/links/port-of-salalah/): The small harbor at Raysut has expanded into the major transshipment and cargo terminal of the Port of Salalah. AMNAS has supplied all the new Aids to Navigation for this expansion and has built a new major lighthouse with a 20 nautical mile range on the headland of Ra’s Raysut above the port.
- [Ras al Hadd Light Tower](https://amnas-oman.com/links/ras-al-hadd-light-tower/): The light tower on Oman’s eastern tip, Ras al Hadd, provides an essential Aid to Navigation for large vessels using the offshore Traffic Separation Scheme and other vessel sailing from the Gulf of Oman into the Arabian Sea. AMNAS has recently conducted extensive refurbishment to the tower and has upgraded the rotating beacon. There are plans to build a replacement lighthouse in this vital location in due course.

- [Mina Al Fahl and Port Sultan Qaboos](https://amnas-oman.com/links/mina-al-fahl-and-port-sultan-qaboos/): Large vessels rely on buoys and shore based Aids to Navigation for their safe passage into the oil terminal at Mina al Fahl and into the Capital’s main port of Mina Qaboos. Soon after AMNAS started operations it changed the PDO Fairway buoy and continues to conduct routine maintenance and if necessary upgrade the Aids to Navigation in the Capital Area.
